In 2006, Emma Macey from Film 15 worked in partnership with Friends of Llwyngwril Gallery and Mach Fringe to bring a series of film related activities to Mid Wales so young people from the area could discover, nurture and celebrate their creative talents. The results were outstanding and the unexpected successes even greater. From Mid Wales to Co Opeative Young Filmmakers Award 2007, young people like Seimon Lea [aged 15] have been able to represent Wales on the National and international film circuit and bring attention to this wonderful hot house of local talent. Seimon Lea’s film, Wild West [Wales] is being shown in screening 9 at 4.30pm on the 13th of October at the Co Operative Young film Makers Festival in Bradford. FILM 15 hope that their project with Corris Institute this year will be “as dynamic as last years and we are thoroughly looking forward to unveiling this years films at The Pink Snowball Awards 2007″
