FILM 15 is an experienced organisation that specialises in the research, development and delivery of a range of film making activities for young people based in Mid Wales.
Through our specially designed slate of projects we aim to inspire, nurture and materialise young people’s creative ideas and showcase them on local and international platforms.
Our projects cater for all levels of film making including taking groups of young people who complete our introductory programme FILM 15 on to professional placements and advanced technical training opportunities under the programme FILM 15 Production.
Since we started in 2005, FILM 15 has worked in schools, with communities and run many youth programmes making a total of forty-six films with over three hundred young people.
While our collective initiatives aim to inspire and promote film making and film literacy we are also very interested in young people, what they think, what they feel and what they have to say.
Our policy is to provide opportunities to learn and engage with film making without any preconceived ideas about what young people will make. Each year the young people’s films are all unique, cover a range of genres and are delivered using many different techniques.
All the films produced under our schemes are made entirely by the young people themselves including concept development, scripting, filming and editing.
If film making interests you, download a form and sign up for the FILM 15 experience. Who says the next generation of Welsh film makers won’t come from the Middle!!!!!!
