FILM 15 PRODUCTIONS TEAM

Emma Macey-Storch BA, B Ed, MA
[Projects Manager and Founder of FILM 15]

Originally from Australia, Emma comes from a Fine Art background specialising in sound and video. She has initiated and worked as a project leader on many creative projects including Gallery 37, projects for The Welsh Refugee Council and Oriel Davies. In 2005 Emma decided to focus her energies locally, which led to her setting up a film making project in Machynlleth for young people. Since then Emma’s vision has grown and FILM 15 Productions has formed to deliver a slate of filmmaking projects for the Mid Wales area.

Emma specialises in the educational focus of FILM 15 Productions, workshop delivery, production as well as writing, directing and producing for film. Note: Emma believes anything is possible – so be careful what you ask for!!!!!!

Alex Bluffield BA
[Workshop Facilitator and Filmmaker]

Alex joined Film 15 in 2006 as a workshop facilitator and project assistant. His specialism is editing. His first success was getting selected for the BBC’s Talent 2000 showcase whilst still an undergraduate. His broadcast credits include two television series for SKY. In previous incarnations he has taught English as a Foreign language, worked as a social organiser on study tours and been a language support assistant in a secondary school.

Alex trained in all aspects of television and radio production at London Guildhall University and graduated in 1997 with a BA (Hons) Communication and Audio Visual Production Studies degree. Note: he also makes a handy film extra, unless it involves line dancing!

Jim Elliott BA
[Workshop Facilitator and Filmmaker]

Jim Elliott joined FILM 15 in 2007 as a workshop facilitator and project worker. He has worked as a community artist since 1998. Originally specialising in using music technology with people with severe learning disabilities, he retrained as a filmmaker at Darts (Doncaster Community Arts) and has subsequently worked as a film development officer for Connexions Humber and a V.J. for The Angel Brothers.

In his time facilitating community films, Jim has enabled over 1,000 people to access filmmaking and animation for the first time. From primary school children to people on the autistic spectrum to recovering addicts, his aim is to foster an enthusiastic, experimental yet comfortable environment in which all ideas are equally merited. Note: Jim knows lots and lots of keyboard shortcuts!!!
